I thought I would post this information for future reference. I recently helped a longtime Tracker user get his 5100DS running using a NI PCI-GPIB card after he had switched PCs. This particular card was never supported by Huntron (the 5100DS shipped with an ISA GPIB card) but 5100DS users have reported success in getting the PCI card to work. We have a document on the web site that answers some of the configuration questions:
http://www.huntron.com/sales-support/pdf/5100ds-gpib.pdf

This document says the GPIB configuration utility is accessible in the Windows Control Panel but this recent experience was different. The Control Panel icon was not there and we could not figure out how to get the communication properly configured. A Google search finally gave us a clue and we found the GPIB Configuration Utility (gpibconf.exe) in this path (Windows XP):
Program Files/National Instruments/488.2/Bin

The primary key to getting the 5100DS to work is the DEV1 name. Change it to HTRKER.
The most important troubleshooting tool is your eyes.
