Hello Steve
If you suspect the doubler diode circuit DI & D2.
These are down in the Huntron Maintenance Manual as 3 KV, with the Part No. HV30.
This diode appears to be obsolete, but you could use this from Farnell:-
https://uk.farnell.com/search?st=3%20KV%20DIODES .
Or these from RS:-
https://uk.rs-online.com/web/c/semiconductors/discrete-semiconductors/rectifier-diodes-schottky-diodes/?searchTerm=3%20KV%20DIODES&applied-dimensions=4294277268 .
Or these from Digi-Key:-
https://www.digikey.co.uk/products/en/discrete-semiconductor-products/diodes-rectifiers-single/280?k=3+KV+DIODES&k=&pkeyword=3+KV+DIODES&sv=0&pv2071=u3000V&sf=1&FV=ffe00118&quantity=&ColumnSort=0&page=1&pageSize=25 .
Perhaps Curtis will give this his seal of approval or not!

While I was at it I'd replace  electrolytics capacitors  C16 to c19 1 Uf 450 V, and C20 ceramic  0.01 Uf 2KV.
All theses available from the above companies.
Have I saved you the cost of a new C.R.T?

Steve.AES

Many thanks James
I have already replaced all the electrolytics including the 2 x 3300uf and the 1 x 1uf as from past experience they do go leaky and it was my first thought. I'll source the diode's from element 14 here along with the ceramic many thanks again.
i'll post the results once fitted and here's hoping

Is this C.R.T. good for the HUNTRON Tracker 2000?

Dear besttestus,

Is this C.R.T. good for the HUNTRON Tracker 2000?

As I mentioned in an earlier post, the same tube was used in the Tracker 5100DS. These products were being manufactured at the same time and we only used one tube type at that time (the Toshiba).

But this was not made clear in the Ebay sale.
Your comment "try this (the same tube was used in the 1000 and 5100DS):" does as you say state good for the Tracker 2000.
The self-employed engineer cannot afford stock of useless expensive components that might do the job!

But you make no comment on this:-" Perhaps Curtis will give this his seal of approval or not!"

Give a try. The spec is the same.
