Title: WS 3.5.4 Sigassist and Sig Check button.
Post by: jvthorsley on September 27, 2012, 07:38:06 AM
I am using Workstation 3.5.4 and wonder what the difference is between Sig Check Button (Not available for ProTracks with KJ1 & KJ2 serial number prefixes.) and  Sigassist that can be activated in the Preferences menu. I find Sigassist very useful to show details of the resistive or capacitance component in a circuit.

The " Sig Check Button " is mentioned on page number 121 under the heading ProTrack 1 Diagnostics in the Workstation 3.5.4 manual. It only says it checks the consistency of signatures.

Ahh yes. It is part of the ProTrack Diagnostics along with Volts Check, Resistance Check, etc...

Yes I know its part of the ProTrack diagnostics but what does it do exactly that aparently the older ProTracks can not do. My ProTrack appears to run through all the diagnostic tests.
Any more thoughts on this Curtis??
