Combining the Huntron Access Prober, Huntron Workstation Software and the new Test Evolution (TEV) Non-Contact Near Field Signature
Analysis (NFSA) Probe sets the standard for Near Field Signature Analysis (NFSA). The combination of Huntron Prober and TEV RF Probe
allows accurate positioning and measurement of Virtual Test Points (VTPs). This provides the repeatability to measure VTP's from 30MHZ to 3GHZ.
The Huntron Access 2 NFSA can handle PCAs up
to 15.3" x 18" (38.9cm x 45.7cm) and has four slot levels for vertical PCA positioning.
The Access 2 NFSA can handle the taller components on PCAs with 4" (10cm) of clearance.
Both systems use the Test Evolution (TEV) NFSA Probe that is used to for fault determination in high frequency electronic circuits. The test frequency range is
30MHz to 3GHZ. The TEV NFSA Probe is an integrated monopole antenna, receiver and spectrum analyzer connected through a USB port. Central to this test system is the ability
to place the TEV NFSA Probe at a repeatable position and distance from the Virtual Test Point. The Huntron Access Prober delivers this repeatability with +/- 20um placement accuracy on the
XY plane and 200um resolution on the Z axis.
