Technical Support “Quick Tip”

Cable testing with Huntron Tracker and Scanners Application Note

Huntron Trackers and Scanners have always been useful in making effective tests for cables. This application note discusses using the Tracker Model 30 and Scanner to make cable testing easy.

Tracker and cable testing

Since the Scanner accessory is a multi-pin switch matrix for the Tracker Model 30, stepping through each conductor on a cable can execute quickly and with effective results. The application note also discusses the types of fixtures that may need to be constructed for easy cable testing.
