ProTrack and ScannerOctober, 2007--  The Huntron ProTrack I model 20 and ProTrack Scanner will be replaced by the Tracker Model 30 and the new Huntron Scanner II and Scanner 31S. This applies to commercial sales only and will occur at the beginning of 2008. Huntron will continue to support the ProTrack and ProTrack Scanner in terms of technical and repair support.

October, 2007--  The Huntron Access Prober with PCI frame grabber has been replaced by the Access USB Probers which utilize a single USB connection for motor and camera control. Huntron will continue to support the Huntron Access with PCI frame grabber in terms of technical and repair support.

tracker 4000December, 2005--  Huntron will discontinue production of the Tracker 4000 at the end of 2005. Those investigating the possible purchase of a Huntron Tracker should have a look at the Tracker 2700. Huntron will continue to support the Tracker 4000 in terms of technical and repair support.

September, 2004--  Just released is an USB upgrade kit for older Huntron ProTracks. Current Huntron ProTracks being produced are configured to use a USB port for computer control. This upgrade kit converts parallel connected ProTracks to USB. For ProTracks with serial number prefixes KJ1 and KJ2, order part number 98-0443. For ProTracks with the serial number prefix KJ3 or KJ4, order part number 98-0483. Contact Huntron for pricing.

Color Camera close-upAugust, 2004--  Users of the older Huntron Prober II or III will be interested in the new color camera upgrade that is now available. High resolution color cameras have been standard on Huntron Probers since the summer of 2003 and now can be added to older Prober IIs and IIIs that currently have black and white systems. The image difference is remarkable making placement of Align and Teach points much easier. Contact Huntron about the Color Camera upgrade, part number 98-0402 (Prober II) or 98-0450 (Prober III). This upgrade is not available for the Huntron RP388.

Prober IIFebruary, 2004--  Huntron has announced the discontinuation of the ProTrack Prober IIc. The Prober IIc has been Huntron's medium-sized robotic prober along with it's much larger sibling, the Prober IIIc, since it's introduction in late 1996. The Prober II will be replaced by the next generation Huntron Access Prober for use with Huntron ProTrack systems.

Tracker 2000November, 2003--  The longtime mainstay of the Huntron product line has been discontinued. The Tracker 2000 has officially ended its production run to be replaced by the Tracker 2700. The Tracker 2000 made it's debut in 1984 and Huntron has since sold thousands of units. Huntron will continue to support the Tracker 2000 in terms of technical and repair support.
