Huntron Workstation Alert

Huntron Technical Support recommends that you do not use the “Prober Diagnostics” which can be selected under the Tools/Maintenance menu. You will run the risk of corrupting the internal motor control settings programmed into your Huntron Prober. This issue will be fixed in the next software release. Please contact Huntron technical Suppport with any questions.

Huntron Workstation Sample Test: This is a sample database which can be opened in Huntron Workstation 4.0. It includes a full test database, signatures, CAD data, alignment images and a board image. Download and unzip this file and save it to your “My Documents/Huntron/Boards” folder. Start Huntron Workstation and select File/Open. Browse to the location of the saved file and open it. Download size is 10.6MB.

Huntron Workstation 4.1 CD Download

Download the latest software using the link below. To install, close Huntron Workstation. Unzip the workstation2881.zip file to a folder and then optionally burn the folder contents to a CD. Install the software by double clicking on the default.htm file in the folder or on the CD. Verify the install by running Huntron Workstation and selecting About Huntron Workstation from the Help menu to view the version number.

Note: CAD users should uninstall CAMCAD and install the version in the CAD Tools folder of the install.

Note: Huntron Workstation 4.1 runs under Microsoft Windows Vista, except for ProTracks with parallel port interface (CE or older versions). USB upgrades are available by contacting Huntron.

Note: Huntron Workstation 4.1 requires activation codes to run. The activation codes that were supplied with version 4.0 still work with 4.1.

Download the latest software patch using the link below. To install, close Huntron Workstation then unzip and execute the .MSP file. Verify the patch installation by starting Huntron Workstation and selecting About Huntron Workstation from the Help menu to view the version number. Huntron Prober DLL: Users of version 4.0.2314 that have a Prober IIc or Prober IIIc should download this DLL file and save it to the Program Files\ Huntron Workstation folder. It fixes an issue with the Z axis home position in the middle and bottom prober slots.
